In the thesis the issues of a structured organizationally independent system of bodies of executive power of Ukraine are investigated. Nowadays the understanding of the phenomenon of executive power in a democratic state is characterized by the gradual loss of the value of paternalism tendencies. It is also can be characterized by the reorientation to overcome the contradiction between the declared and normatively enshrined rights and freedoms of man and citizen and their implementation in the practice of state bodies, and increasing the role of feedback between executive authorities and civil society.
