The thesis analyzes the problems of legal regulation of various types of pensions in Ukraine. Methods of research of the bases of legal regulation of pension provision in Ukraine are considered. The genesis of the legal regulation of pension provision in Ukraine is revealed. The analysis of retrospective development of special pension provision is developed. The importance and features of the special pension provision are singled out and characterized. The scientific interpretation of the pension system and its characteristics are established. The system of principles and guarantees of legal regulation of pension provision is defined. Types of pension insurance systems are outlined. Specifics of special pension provision are highlighted. Attention is paid to the types of principles and guarantees of special pension provision. The content of forms of special pension provision is found out. Characteristics of non-state pension provision are carried out. Features and contents of non-state pension provision are considered. The content of the types of non-state pension funds is highlighted. Particular attention is paid to determining the trends of further development of the legal regulation of pensions in Ukraine.
