Essay

Purpose: theoretical and methodical and methodological substantiation and development of perspective directions of multifunctional rural economy development taking in toaccount the strengthening of the role of gender componentin globalization processes. Object: the process of rural economy development and changes in approaches to assessing participation of men and women in ensuring socio-economic growth of society in global environment. Methods of research: abstract-logical, historical-economic, terminological analysis and methods of formal logic, comparative analysis, synergetic, statistical-economic, economic comparativist, sociological survey, economic-mathematical modeling, monographic, scientific abstraction. Theoretical results: Theoretical and methodological principles of rural economy development under conditions of globalization on the basis of gender equality are developed. Practical results: the possibilities of systemic improvement of the national rural development policy based on developed scientific and applied approaches to stimulation the process of rural economy growt hunder conditions of globalization, taking into account the results of the economic-mathematical modeling of interdependence between gender inequality and rural population welfare are grounded. Scientific novelty: author's definition of the rural economy concept from the gender standpoint as an open socio-economic system was formed; the methodology of gender imperatives of rural economy development forming was determined; the methodological approach to scientific research of gender regularities of rural economy developmentis proposed; economic-mathematical model of the impact of gender inequality on rural economy development has been developed. Degree of implementation: Zhytomyr Regional Council; Institute of Economics and Forecasting of National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine; Vasylivka village council of Zhytomyr region; Radomyshl City Unified Territorial Community; ZNAEU. Efficiency: the study results contribute to stimulating the development of rural economies in globalizing environment, taking into account gender parameters. Scope of application: specialized ministries and administrations, central and local executive authorities, sectoral authorities, and higher educational institutions.
