Essay

The dissertation is aimed at solving an important scientific and technical problem of establishing the physico-chemical bases for the creation of multifunctional composite epoxy polymeric building materials by predicting and controlling acid-base intermolecular and interphase interactions between components. The object of the study is the physico-chemical inter-molecular and interphase processes during the structuring and formation of properties of multifunctional composite epoxy-polymeric building materials. The subject of research is polymer composite materials based on epoxy oligomers, amine solids, low molecular weight modifiers and disperse clay, quartz and oxide fillers. Research methods. In the work the complex method is used: methods of investigation of disperse inorganic fillers; methods of studying the processes of structuring and technological properties of compositions; Methods of studying the structure and performance properties of epoxy polymer materials. The scientific basis of the physico-chemical regularities of the formation of epoxy polymer composite materials has been developed, which makes it possible to predict and adjust the technological and operational properties by modification with dispersed inorganic fillers with different acid-base properties. A number of multifunctional epoxy building materials with a wide range of properties have been created. It is shown the possibility of regulation of the formation processes of epoxy filled polymers by changing the acid-basic characteristics of the surface active centers of quartz, clay and oxide fillers. The prediction of the changes in the surface energy characteristics of the filled composites according to the acid-base properties of the filler surface and the degree of filling are predicted. An advanced computer program for selecting multifunctional epoxy-polymeric building materials, which is an open-source data bank with the ability to replenish. Recommendations on the use of coatings and facing materials on the basis of epoxy polymers for fire protection of two-strand steel structures have been developed. Industry - construction.
