Essay

Object of research: the run of energy transformations during the interaction of machines with the working environment. Goal: the development of scientific principles of the energetic approach for efficient solution of the problems of interaction between machines and working environment, taking into account their structural features and rheological properties. Methods of research: mathematical and functional analysis, thermodynamics, engineering mechanics, theory of elasticity and plasticity, fracture mechanics, hydromechanics, theoretical rheology, numerical. Scientific novelty: for the first time, the usage of variational inequalities formulated with regard to the exergy and the anergy of non-idealized hydromechanical systems is justificated, which enables to investigate irreversible processes in the interaction of machines with the working environment; for the first time, mathematical expressions of the exergy and anergy of piecewise-homogeneous hydromechanical systems with consideration of the imperfections of the components mechanical contact, covering the ability of such systems to irreversible energy transformations, are substantiated and systematized; for the first time the design of a heat - hydraulic power installation for integrated energy supply of logging processes from heterogeneous renewable sources is justified, which ensures the stabilization of energy supply from such sources; for the first time, the criterion of long-term exploitation of hydraulic structures has been substantiated in order to specify the volumes for machines usage in soil works, and its phenomenological confirmation has been obtained; numerical and analytical methods for studying the problems of strength, dynamics, and stability of layered elements of machine structures were improved, which allowed to obtain refined solutions of such problems and to determine the operational characteristics of structural elements depending on their structure. Practical significance: The methodology of the energy approach is used to successfully solve the problems that arise during the interaction of machines with the working environment. Engineering estimation of solutions of a number of practical problems related to the rutting formation, the working bodies and working environment wear out is received. The clarified solutions of the problems that arise in the practice of designing and operating existing machines are offered. A program of operational testing of mobile equipment has been developed and implemented in the LF UkrNIIPVT named L. Pogorilyj, at the Lviv Panzer Plant by the author. Field of use: machines for soil, road and forestry works.
