Essay

Theoretically substantiated the basic approaches to the description of the emotional sphere of personality: regulatory, structural, psychophysiological, autonomous, socio-cultural and systemic approaches. Based on the provisions of the systematic approach, the "emotional sphere" is defined as a complex mental system for assessing the satisfaction of the actual needs of the individual. On the basis of the systematic approach, the model of the emotional sphere of the child's personality as a system, which is represented by a triad of psychophysiological, psychic and expressive components, is theoretically substantiated. The content of the concept "children with cognitive impairments" is specified. According to the results of the theoretical analysis it was stated that the category of children with cognitive impairments is one of the least studied. The content of the concept "children with cognitive impairments" is specified, which includes children with a delayed development and / or unstable function of individual cognitive functions, which is manifested in their reduced productivity, resulting in a decrease in cognitive activity and deterioration of the mental working capacity of the child. Accordingly, the groups are classified according to the criterion of the type of cognitive impairment: developmental delay, which is manifested in low quality and productivity of a certain function; the instability of functioning, marked by dynamic jump-like changes in the quality of the results of the corresponding cognitive function. The structural-functional and dynamic features of the determinants of emotional development of children with cognitive impairments, which are classified into complexes: psychosocial complex represented by communicative and interactive determinants, are revealed. an intellectual complex that integrates gnostic, mnemonic, atomic, mental, and magic determinants; a regulatory complex combining self-regulatory and guiding determinants; Neuropsychological complex that covers the power and balancing determinants. The technology of support for emotional development of children with cognitive impairments, based on the principles of system and technological approaches, has been developed. According to the results of experimental research, the determinant role of psychosocial, intellectual regulation and neuropsychological peculiarities of the personality in the content and dynamics of emotional development in children with cognitive impairments has been confirmed.
