Halilov A. Transformation of management of the economic system of the region: theory, methodology, practice.

The dissertation is devoted to the formation of theoretical and methodological principles, the justification of the transformational aspects of management of the economic system of the region and the development of practical recommendations regarding the conceptual and strategic directions of management of the regional economic system. The theoretical questions of management decisions making in the regional economic sphere are studied. The set of principles and methods for carrying out the analysis of the socio-economic development of regional economic systems is systematized and generalized, which unlike the existing ones, involves the integration of correlation-regression analysis models, market instruments for assessing economic potential and strategic models of management decision making, and allow for a comprehensive substantiation of opportunities, threats, strengths and weaknesses of the region's development.
