Essay

It is substantiated that today economic growth of Ukraine is impossible without the full inclusion in the international division of labor by stimulating the development of potentially competitive in the world market of industrial sectors. A significant factor in the economic development of industry is the ability of domestic industrial complexes to react in a timely manner to the economic, technical and information changes taking place in the world under the influence of economic internationalization. The methodological support for the formation of a regional strategy for managing the competitiveness of enterprises of the industrial complex has been developed. The analysis of the management of competitiveness of industrial complexes of regions of Ukraine and the factors influencing the management of the competitiveness of industry of the regions of Ukraine are determined. A conceptual model for forming a strategy for managing the competitiveness of industrial complexes of regions is developed. In order to verify the adequacy of the SWOT analysis, the author conducted an analysis of expert assessments on an example of the Slobozhansky region, for which the "commodity-market strategy" was chosen to enhance competitiveness. The result of the conducted research, it can be assumed that at the present stage of development of the economy of Ukraine and its regions, a significant factor of improvement can be the increase of the competitiveness of regional industrial complexes on the basis of development of modern methods of management and increase of resource efficiency.
