The aim: to develop and substantiate theory-methodological approaches to the organizational and economic principles of the agrarian insurance market formation and functioning. The object: the formation process of organizational and economic principles of the agrarian insurance market formation and functioning in the conditions of agricultural production risk-generativeness. Research methodology: system analysis; structure-functional; correlation-regression analysis; sociological survey; hypothetical prediction; matrix analysis; Kobba-Douglas; Monte-Carlo Theoretical results: theory-methodological principles of the insurance relations formation and development in the agrarian sphere are developed. Practical results: the organizational, economic and managerial principles of the agrarian insurance market formation and functioning have been developed. Scientific novelty: the conceptual provisions for the functioning of the agrarian insurance market are proposed, which are aimed at the systematic interaction between structural and infrastructural subjects of insurance relations; the methodical approach to complex assessment of territorial, the sectoral and institutional potential of agrarian insurance development is developed with the help of modeling the key parameters of the insurance market functioning.
