Kalatur M. Administrative and legal principles of organization and functioning of investigation units belonging to law enforcement agencies

The dissertation is devoted to the complex study of the administrative and legal principles of the organization and functioning of investigation units belonging to law enforcement agencies. In this paper, the role of the investigating units in the system of law-enforcement bodies of the state is substantiated. Historical and legal analysis of the stages of their formation and development is carried out. The concept of pre-trial investigation bodies is defined and their system in Ukraine is characterized. The purpose, tasks and principles of the investigation units of law enforcement bodies of the state are specified; the administrative-legal regulation of their organization and functioning is being explored. Based on the generalization of foreign experience, conceptual visions of prospects for its usage in Ukraine are proposed.
