Hranovska V. Competitiveness of the Agrarian Enterprises: Theory, Methodology, Practice

Scientific and methodological approach to the process the agrarian enterprises competitiveness investigation forming is established in the thesis. The theoretical and methodological constituents of the agrarian sector economic players competitiveness management system are defined, the specifics of competitive development model formation are researched, and the methodology of agricultural formations competitiveness level is improved. The paper evaluates and diagnoses the factors of the agrarian enterprises competitiveness both on the domestic and world markets and estimates the perspectives of their activity diversification for strengthening their competitive positions and forming higher level competitive advantages. It is proved that the estimation of the optimal competitiveness level appears to be sufficient in such areas and components as market segmentation, production sales process, innovative activeness, enterprise profitability and competitiveness levels, cost price and workers’ salary level, clients’ loyalty. The approaches to agrarian enterprises competitiveness research are improved by the competitive strategy identification. The uniting factor of methodology and the background of the agrarian enterprise competitiveness provision are defined – it is the ability to develop and implement the competitive strategy, adapted to its resource potential and external conditions at most.
