Tymoshenko M. Economic Mechanism for Implementation of the Strategy of Sustainable Development of Rural Territories

The scientific and theoretical essence of the economic mechanism of realization of the strategy of rural territories development in the context of sustainable rural development paradigm is considered, the functions of rural territories, the evolution of theoretical views on the development of the village are explored. The categoricalconceptual apparatus for forming an organizational and economic mechanism for the rapid development of rural territories has been analyzed and refined. The methodological approaches, principles of the integrated assessment of the process of realization of the strategy of sustainable rural development are revealed. The dynamics of quantitative and qualitative parameters of socio-ecological and economic development of rural areas of Ukraine, in particular, Western Polissya in the modern conditions is analyzed. The peculiarities and directions of the improvement of the economic mechanism for implementing the strategy of sustainable development of rural territories based on the use of strategic management tools, the use of neural network technologies, the diversification of financial sources ensuring the development of rural economy at the national and territorial levels. A «tree of goals» has been built, which will ensure the formation and operation of an economic mechanism for implementing the strategy of sustainable development of rural territories. Strategic guidelines for strengthening the investment and innovation component of sustainable rural development on the basis of inclusiveness are developed.
