Essay

The paper considers the main scientific concepts of the research algorithm and peculiarities of sociological research methodology, in particular, used in social stratification studies. The study reveals manifestations of various dimensions of inequality, their factors and peoples’ perception of stratification order and its legitimacy. As a result, an empirically substantiated concept of structural inequalities measurement in the form of principles and rules was elaborated.
