Essay

For the first time, theoretical and methodical principles of professional training of prospective specialists in physical education and sports for recreational and health-related activities were scientifically substantiated. It was developed and experimentally tested the system of professional training of prospective specialists in physical education and sport for recreational and health-related activities, which includes the concept, target, theoretical and methodological, organizational and procedural, and criterion-evaluation blocks, presented in the form of a model; educational and methodical provision and pedagogical conditions for such training (content of professionally oriented disciplines taking into account the specifics of recreational and health-related activities; provision of professional training by active methods of teaching, modern information and communication technologies and subject-to-subject interaction of teachers and students; integration of theoretical, practical and research training of prospective specialists in physical education and sports in the process of conducting practices and organizing students' research work). The author's interpretation of the concepts of "professional training of prospective specialists in physical education and sports for recreational and health-related activities" and "readiness of prospective specialists in physical education and sports for recreational and health-related activities" is presented.
