Particular attention is paid to issues of formation of the research conceptual-categorical apparatus basing on generalization of modern scientific approaches to definition of economic categories studied herein, resulting in the theoretical substantiation of the "quality of employment" concept, which expands understanding of processes and regularities of the labor market formation. Characteristics of tendencies of changes in work and quality of employment conditions affected by information and communication technologies as the preconditions of changes on the labor market are determined in the thesis. The integrated structural quality of employment system is formed basing on the typology of such elements as employment security and ethics, income and benefits, work schedule and duration, combination of work and personal life, stability and social protection, professional development and training, as well as labor motivation and relationships associated with employment. Main principles of the statistical basis formation for measuring the quality of employment are determined to build a conceptual model of statistical estimation of the quality of employment, considering the decomposition of its components in order to substantiate the system of statistical indicators and to define the analysis directions. The classification system is built for statistical estimation of quality of employment basing on the study of principles of statistical classification interaction in the quality of employment management system by adapting international classifications of status in employment and in labor to national conditions. This allows to identify peculiarities of statistical estimation of the quality of employment, depending on the type of authority and of economic risks. The study of peculiarities of the quality of employment estimation based on the time consumption track has resulted in the classification of types of activity for statistics of time consumption basing on adaptation of the corresponding international classification to national conditions by its harmonization with applicable state classifications and legislative norms in Ukraine. This allowed to form a national information and analytical base for researches on time consumption statistics and quality of employment estimation. The statistical base is built for studying the influence of components of the "Content and Information Media" field, basing on principles of interaction between classifications and groupings at statistical estimation of products and types of economic activity in this field in order to form an information and analytical base for relevant analysis. The system of indicators of statistical estimation of the quality of employment in Ukraine is formed basing on the decomposition of its components allowing to create a scientifically substantiated information and analytical base for improvement of territorial and local employment programs in Ukraine. The system of statistical indicators of the ICT application is improved by adding a group of indicators on electronic medical services in the employees' health care. Methodological approaches to building a system of quality of employment indicators are improved in the informal sector of the economy by supplementing it with additional indicators, adapted to existing sources of information, and refining the methodology for their calculation. This allows to expand possibilities of the statistical analysis of the quality of employment in the informal sector of the economy. Improved programmatic, methodological and organizational principles of the company and statistical monitoring on occupational injuries according to international standards, expanded monitoring aspects, data unification and recommendations on creation of the national injuries database help compare data between countries and provide a more accurate picture of the traumatism issue. The methodological principles of statistical estimation of the level of occupational diseases are developed, taking into account peculiarities of the national definition methods in order to develop effective programs of regulation and development of insurance medicine in Ukraine. On the basis of the analysis of international scientific approaches and research results, the methodological principles of monitoring the quality of employment in Ukraine are developed basing on adaptation of the European system of labor monitoring, allowing to increase the informational and analytical support for assessing the quality of employment and to take into account peculiarities of the national labor market. Particular attention is paid to the statistical estimation of the quality of employment in Ukraine. For this purpose the methodological principles are grounded for multivariate estimation of the quality of employment at the mesoscale on the basis of the adaptation of the international methodology for creation of the Job Quality Index (JQI) to the specifics of the regional labor markets in Ukraine, and the peculiarities of the national methodology are determined for the index calculation by types of economic activity. The actual data of the proposed methodological approaches to the quality of employment estimation in Ukraine is tested using the integrated regional index of the quality of employment and the integral job quality index by types of economic activity. It allows to determine the differentiation of the regions of Ukraine by the corresponding sub-index and to reveal the patterns of connection of types of economic activity with the quality of employment level.
