The dissertation is devoted to the formation of theoretical and methodological foundations and the development of scientific methodological and practical recommendations for improving the efficiency of management of network interaction in business systems and processes of the agro-industrial sector of the national economy. Based on the analysis of the key provisions of the competition theory in terms of the factors of economic systems competitiveness, it is grounded that under the conditions of globalization the competitiveness of economic systems depends to a large extent on the development of inter-sectoral integration processes that can be implemented in the form of network interaction of a static or dynamic character, expanding resource and market possibilities of related industries in the development of products, technologies and markets, thus increasing the potential of quantitative growth and qualitative development of the system in general.
