Essay

The dissertation is devoted to development and improvement of the methods for investigating is 3D formulation the stressed state of cylindrical bodies of two types - non-slim cylindrical shells of complex geometry and structure at specific boundary conditions on the ends, and isotropic continuous cylinders at various fixing of the ends . For a cylindrical body of the first type, the method of function approximation with discrete Fourier series was developed, and for the first time the method of spline-functions was applied for a cylindrical body of the second type, with evaluation of indeterminate form in the geometrically singular point. The stress-strain state of non-thin cylindrical shells is studied under certain boundary conditions at the ends, with account for essential curvilinearity of the cross section of the basic surface, anisotropy of the material, presence of layers through the thickness, local applied load, as well as for continuous isotropic cylinders at various types of fixing of the ends.
