Object of the study is processes of state regulation of the social security system in the national economy. Objective of study is deepening and development of theoretical, methodological, scientific, methodological and organizational-managerial foundations of state regulation of the social security system of the national economy. Methods of research are abstract-logical, abstractions and analogies, inductions and deductions, economic-statistical, mathematical-statistical, sociological and expert polls. Theoretical and practical results: theoretical principles of social security; measures to address national security issues related to social security in Ukraine. Novelty is development of theoretical and methodological foundations of state regulation of the social security system in the national economy and development of scientific and practical recommendations on the implementation of the principles, criteria and mechanisms of regulation of social security in the system of strategic management at the national level. Degree of the introduction by Presidential Administration, Verkhovna Rada, National Security and Defense Council, ministries of the Cabinet of ministers, Ukrainian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Ukraine.
