The object of the study is the process of assessment of the quality of straw, retted straw and fibers of oilseed flax. The purpose of the work is to create a new methodology for assessing the quality of stems and fibers of oilseed flax, which is the basis for organizing the process of standardization of this bast-fiber raw material and increasing its competitiveness. Research methods are as follows: analysis of existing scientific studies, methods of qualimetry, multivariate analysis, basics of system analysis, theory of probability. The scientific bases of complex systems of quality control of stems and fibers of oilseed flax have been developed. Based on theoretical and experimental studies, the regulatory documentation has been developed for the first time to determine the quality of straw, retted straw and fibers of oilseed flax, as well as the software to calculate the number of straw and retted straw. Complex systems of quality control of stems and fibers of oilseed flax are proposed, which allow to determine their quality level. The field of use comprise enterprises of primary processing of bast crops.
