Essay

The dissertation presents a resolution of the problem of internal medicine in determnining the role of biomarkers like components of individual strategies for risk assessment of cardiovascular events in patients with chronic lymphoproliferative diseases in remission were evaluated for 3 year observation period. The methods of prophylaxis of cardiovascular events were proposed. It was proved that increasing of the plasma levels of galectin-3 higher than 11.75 ng/ml, VE-cadherin higher than 0.53 ng/ml are associated with risk of cardiovascular events in patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia during 3 year period. It was shown that positive and negative prognostic value of galectin-6, and VE-cadherin is higher compared with other biological markers with high sensitivity and specificity. Atorvastatin treatment associated with lower cumulative incidences of cardiovascular events in patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia. It was proved that atorvastatin one-year treatment decreased level of galectin-3 and VE-cadherin with improving of regional systolic and diastolic functions, quality of life scale scores.
