Essay

The thesis is devoted to solving a important scientific-applied problem, which is to develop a system of knowledge about the structures and operating parameters of equipment for the thermal incineration of waste. A system of expert assessments has been created for the selection of the main equipment for thermal destruction of waste. A model for the installation of thermal neutralization of solid household waste with a drum-type rotary kiln and an afterburning chamber has been developed. A design of a rotary kiln with a friction drive has been proposed to significantly increase the lifetime of a lining. A model of a solid waste incineration facility in a shaft furnace has been developed and investigated. A model of mixing of waste in a rotary kiln housing using on the mathematical apparatus of Markov chains has been proposed. The system of criteria for the selection of rational heat recovery systems has been proposed. The results of the thesis research were introduced and were used to select rational types of technologies and installations to incineration of wastes and the selection of heat recovery systems in these installations.
