Tarasenko D. Social determinants of environmental policy and sustainable development in Ukraine

The dissertation is devoted to the theoretical and methodological foundations elaboration for the social determinants of Ukraine's environmental policy and practical recommendations for the national economy sustainable development advancement. A comprehensive scientific approach to the formation, development and implementation of national sustainable development policy has been theoretically substantiated. The methodology of systematic analysis of environmental policy in the context of the national economy sustainable development. The analysis of the sustainable development components in the context of outlining the environmental policy of Ukraine has been carried out. The model of sustainable development parameters estimation and state environmental policy have been proposed. It has been proposed to carry out the environmental policy parameters formation in the conditions of state sustainable development taking into account those sectors of the national economy that significantly affect the environmental situation in the country. The system of relevant parameters of the environmental policy social determinant has been proposed. The system of criteria for evaluation and monitoring of the parameters of the environmental policy social determinants effectiveness has been developed. Multivariate dynamic models for environmental policy estimation have been purposed. The method of ecological policy productivity estimation in Ukraine and the main spheres of economic activity of national economy have been developed. The ways of ensuring the national economy sustainable development and its leading industries have been identified. Methodical principles of rapid diagnostics of the level of providing environmental policy on the principles of the national economy sustainable development have been developed. Criteria and approaches to determining the effectiveness of social policy in the context of sustainable development have been defined. The essence of the «social determinant of environmental policy» category has been clarified. The system mechanisms which ensure sustainable development in Ukraine been identified. The results contribute to the formation of sound environmental and economic policies that take into account environmental, economic and social determinants and create the prospects and opportunities for sustainable growth of the national economy
