The dissertation is devoted to the definition of the nature and features of the administrative and legal foundations of the activities of the police of Georgia and the Baltic States. The concept of police activity and administrative activity of the police has been clarified. The basic European principles of police activity are defined. The tasks, functions and legal principles of the activities of the Georgian, Latvian, Lithuanian and Estonian police are described. The modern forms and methods of activity of the police of Georgia and the Baltic States are generalized. The latest concepts of police law in modern countries are reviewed and described. The organizational and legal support for the functioning of the police of Georgia and the Baltic States, which is the basis for the formation of the national police system of Georgia and the Baltic States, has been determined.
