Sienko O. Strategy for sustainable development of maritime transport of Ukraine

The dissertation theoretically substantiates and proposes a new solution to the scientific problem, which is to deepen and substantiate the theoretical, methodological and scientific and methodological foundations of the functioning of maritime transport in Ukraine and to develop a strategy for ensuring its sustainable development. The content of the concept of sustainability of the development of maritime transport is determined, the interdisciplinary nature of its research is considered, taking into account the material, technical, economic, environmental, political and social components of the system of management of the development of the industry. It is proved that the maritime transport system is an important segment for the economy of the country, the stable functioning of which provides adequate conditions for national security and improving the standard of living of the population. The methodology of research of the maritime transport industry in the national economy in the context of ensuring its sustainable development is generalized. Conceptual provisions for the management of investment programs are proposed, which consider the feasibility of implementing the principle of a full-scale maritime state. A methodological toolkit for managing the process of forming a strategy for sustainable development of maritime transport has been developed.
