Yeremenko D. Ensuring the Competitiveness of Ukrainian Farms

It is proved in the dissertation that the main direction of development of domestic farming is ensuring competitive high-quality production of agricultural products together with expansion of the sphere of production and economic activity. The necessity to create an alternative system of functioning of entrepreneurial structures, whose activity must take into account the mandatory nature of sustainable development of rural territories as an integral part of its further existence, has been substantiated. The term «farm village» or «farm-type village» has been proposed to use. It is proved that the main purpose of the actual implementation of the model of a farm village is to ensure the harmonious coexistence of business structures of the peasant type within one administrative unit, to stimulate their economic activity on the principles of sustainable development. «The concept of the program of competitive development of farms for the period up to 2030» has been developed, the purpose of which is to create organizational and economic conditions for ensuring the competitive development of farms in Ukraine. The current state and features of state support for competitive development of farms have been analyzed. The necessity of implementing state policy measures to stimulate the development of inter-economic associations of farmers based on the principles of clustering has been substantiated.
