Prediction of the reliability of buildings and structures of the surface complex of mines in terms of inadequate information about their technical condition. - Qualification work on the rights of manuscript. The thesis for the scientific degree of Doctor of Technical Sciences in specialty 05.15.04 –«Mine and underground construction». –National Technical University «Dnipro Polytechnic», Dnipro, 2019. The dissertation is devoted to the solution of the important problem in the safe operation of mine surface buildings, namely the development of theoretical bases and methods for predicting the reliability of elements of buildings and structures of the surface complex of mines in terms of inadequate information about their technical condition using mathematical apparatus and probabilistic-statistical methods of technical diagnostics. For the first time, the regularities of the appearance and development of defects caused by accumulated damages with a large number of structural elements were established, the dependences of wear of the building supporting structures on the value of entropy were estimated. A new concept of structural safety management of mining facilities was proposed on the basis of a comprehensive analysis of the conducted research. The concept is based on the criteria for assessing their stable state like a parameter of the structural safety system and the reliability of the elements in time, and enables to prevent disastrous effects during operation.
