The dissertation is devoted to substantiation of conceptual bases, improvement of theoretical and methodological provisions, development of methodological approaches and practical recommendations on formation of competitive advantages of producers of agricultural products of Ukraine on foreign markets. In dissertation research is developed and systematized the conceptual and terminological apparatus of the process the formation of competitive advantages of producer of agricultural products of Ukraine in foreign markets. In particular, is provided the author's vision of the essence of the definition of "competitive advantages of agricultural producers" as a set of factors of activity of the enterprise formed on the basis of use of available economic, social, environmental, innovative potential and ability of the enterprise to make more rational than the competitors, managerial decisions on stochastic changes of agricultural production and market conditions, the implementation of which is able to ensure the enterprise sustainable development. The theoretical basis for the formation of competitive advantages of Ukrainian agricultural producers on foreign markets has been formed. The methodological toolkit of forming the competitive advantages of Ukrainian agricultural producers on foreign markets has been determined. The scientific approach to the assessment of the competitive advantages of Ukrainian agricultural producers in foreign markets is substantiated, with the stages of this process and main groups and subgroups of evaluation indicators being distinguished. The system of managing the competitive advantages of Ukrainian agricultural producers in foreign markets is presented. The concept of effective foreign economic policy of Ukraine aimed at forming new and strengthening the existing competitive advantages of domestic agricultural producers in foreign markets is substantiated. The main provisions of the system of regional socio-economic policy of Ukraine on agricultural producers are formulated. The general provisions of the formation of the competitive strategy of agricultural producers of Ukraine on foreign markets are developed. The directions of development of production, financial, personnel, export, marketing, information potentials as a basis for formation of qualitative economic potential of producers of agricultural products of Ukraine are offered. The influence of investment and innovative activity of agricultural producers on the formation of their competitive advantages in foreign markets is analyzed. According to the results of the research is proposed a model of development to investment and innovation activity of the studied subjects to increase their competitive advantages in foreign markets. It is presented the system of activation of foreign economic activity of agricultural producers. It includes two interrelated blocks: the vectors for the development of foreign economic activity (the minimum necessary conditions for the effective development of the studied enterprises at the international level) and the specific block - the directions of activation of the most common types of foreign economic activity of agricultural producers. The role of international certification in shaping the competitive advantages of Ukrainian agricultural producers in foreign markets has been investigated. Developed a typical algorithm of certification of activity of agricultural producers of Ukraine. It is offered the directions of intensification of international certification by domestic agricultural producers, with providing of key functions state and regional authorities.
