Essay

The scientific problem of new generation of plasma-optical system modeling in order to clearing the physical processes that take place in them, to control and manipulate these processes, as well as for their effective development, optimization of characteristics and practical use in different fields of science and technology is solved in the thesis. In this regard, the kinetic, hydrodynamic and hybrid models were created, numerical algorithms were developed, and software systems were created. New data concerns to operation conditions, use and construction of new generation plasma-optical devices for various scientific and technological needs have been obtained. According to the results of theoretical analysis and computer simulations, there are proposed and developed: • the plasma dynamical features of magnetron type cylindrical gas discharges using the hydrodynamic description. The proposed model is based on the assumption of the presence of three quasi-autonomous regions in diode gap which essential differ in current transfer nature; • characteristics of Hall-type accelerator with open wall and closed electron drift based on the hydrodynamic and hybrid description and ways to improve and optimize their parameters; • plasma lens with positive space charge cloud for high-current negatively charged particles beams manipulation and possibility for improving it characteristics; • plasma optical filter based on the plasma lens with kinetic description help and it optimization possibilities for destruction or crushing of micro-droplets that created by erosive plasma sources.
