The dissertation is devoted to the solution of an important scientific problem of construction and functioning of mechanisms and systems of strategic management of organizational and economic security of enterprises. Identification of the conceptual and categorical apparatus of organizational and economic security research has been completed. The characteristics of safety and safe states of activity as an object of management in enterprise management are defined. The peculiarities of construction of mechanisms for compliance with organizational and economic security of enterprises are outlined. Structural, functional and instrumental approaches to the construction of organizational and economic security management systems are characterized. The ways of taking into account the institutional influences in managing the organizational and economic security of the enterprise are substantiated. Procedures for assessing the level of compliance with organizational and economic security in the management of the enterprise are defined. There is a correlation between the efficiency of functioning and organizational and economic security of enterprises. The regional peculiarities of organizational and economic security in the management of agricultural enterprises are identified.
