Essay

The thesis focuses on research of the elastic body mode of deformation under the dead load with stress raisers with non-canonical surfaces form, close to canonical (plate, spherical and cylindrical). For the first time on basis of the three-dimensional equations of the elasticity theory in order to calculate the stress rate in constructions like plates and shells with concentrators in the form of oscillated boundary and contact surfaces, local and periodic throats, hollows (holes) as well as rectangular and non-circular orifices, approaches using the method of the form of boundary disturbance combined with the superposition method (finite bodies) equations and relations of the generalized theory of non-thin plates and shells have been suggested. Experimental determination of the concentration of stresses scale in thick-walled cylindrical shells with local and periodical concentrators in the form of throats and non-circular orifices has been performed using a method of photoelasticity. For individual cases the comparison of experimental values of the concentration of stresses scales with theoretical ones has been done. The main results of the research have practical application in the mineral resource and oil-and-gas industry.
