Yemelyanov O. Tools and models for assessing the potential of economic development of enterprises

The object of the research is the process of assessing the potential of economic development of enterprises. The research aims to the substantiation of conceptual, methodological and methodological-applied bases for the development and use of tools and models for assessing the potential of economic development of enterprises. The author used such methods as: system analysis, generalization, modeling, abstraction, optimization method. The theoretical value of the thesis refers to the study of the theoretical principles the formation and development of tools and models for assessing the potential of economic development of enterprises. Scientific novelty of the results: for the first time generalized method for assessing the potential of economic development of enterprises on the basis of establishing and modeling the hierarchy of enterprise properties; a model for assessing the potential of increasing the flexibility and adaptability of enterprises to changes in the external environment; tools for assessing the potential of resource-saving technological change in enterprises, taking into account the risk factor was developed; method of estimating factors of formation of potential of resource-saving economic development of enterprises; indicators for assessing the potential of technical development of enterprises; a model for assessing the potential of increasing the competitiveness of enterprises; a model for assessing the potential for growth in the market value of enterprises was improved; conceptual approach to the definition of the concepts of "potential", "enterprise potential" and "enterprise development potential"; grouping of factors involved in shaping the economic development potential of business entities; classification of barriers to realizing the potential of innovative enterprise development; modeling of potential of increase of financial stability of the enterprise was developed. The subject of the research is conceptual, methodological and applied provisions for the formation and development of tools and models for assessing the potential of economic development of enterprises. Author’s recommendations are used during the formation and development of tools and models for assessing the potential of economic development of enterprises. The sphere for the use of author’s recommendations is the enterprises of Ukraine.
