Essay

The dissertation is dedicated to the establishment of pathways of formation of nitric oxide, its crosslinks with other signal mediators and mechanisms of participation in the processes of induction of adaptive response of plants to the influence of stressors of various natures. It is revealed that donors of nitric oxide caused the increase in resistance of plant objects to the various stressors and affected the rise of NO content. It is proved that the close functional interaction occurs between nitric oxide, calcium ions and hydrogen peroxide as the signal mediators, and the signaling network, which provides the induction of plants resistance, is multicomponent. It is established that nitric oxide participates in the induction of heat resistance of plant objects at the influence of stress phytohormones: jasmonic and salicylic acids, and 24-epibrassinolide. It is proved that donors of nitric oxide cause the modification of activity of antioxidant enzymes – SOD, catalase, guaiacol peroxidase and ascorbate peroxidase. Such effects depend on the concentration of donors of nitric oxide and species features of plants.
