The thesis studies theoretical and methodological basis for forming the safety culture of professional activity for future skilled workers of construction profile. The concept of safety culture of professional activity for future skilled workers of construction profile is formulated. It is an integrative and personal formation valued in terms of professional and personal safety; it covers the proper possession of general professional, key and professional competences (knowledge, skills, skills in the construction industry, professionally important qualities), ensures a desire for preventing and overcoming dangerous situations and threats and taking appropriate action in case of workplace hazards. It is determined that the structure of safety culture of professional activity for future skilled workers is made up of content components: labour, health, environmental, energy-efficient and communicative.
