Essay

On the basis of the analysis of the scientific and pedagogical literature the degree of the scientific development of the problem concerning teaching foreign languages to students with the use of technological innovations is determined and theoretical and didactic principles of the research are revealed in the dissertation. The didactic system of forming the readiness of students of philological specialties to use technological innovations in foreign language teaching is theoretically grounded, developed and experimentally tested. It is based on the general didactic and specific principles and integrates the following functional components: purpose; organizational and motivational; content; procedural; resulting and evaluative. The didactic conditions for the formation of readiness of students of philological specialties to apply technological innovations in their future professional and pedagogical activity are determined and theoretically grounded. They include student-philologists’ motivation to apply technological innovations in their future professional and pedagogical activity, which ensures the realization of the organizational and motivational component of the developed system, organization of the professionally directed interaction of the subjects of educational process, which contributes to the realization of the content and procedural training, and creation of the appropriate educational and methodological support. The research and experimental verification of the didactic system proves the effectiveness of the practical implementation of the suggested recommendations aimed at the formation of the readiness of students of philological specialties to apply technological innovations in their future professional and pedagogical activity.
