Essay

The thesis justifies theoretical, methodological and methodical principles of training future foreign language teachers in the context of information and learning environment in higher education institutions (HEIs). It also describes the information and learning environment in HEIs, summarizes the features of training future foreign language teachers in HEIs, substantiates modern methodological (systemic, competency-based, axiological, cultural, pragmatist, communicative, student-centred, multidisciplinary) approaches to training future foreign language teachers and analyzes the experience of training future foreign language teachers in the EU, the USA and Canada.
