Datsenko H. The mechanism of financial control in improving the security of industrial enterprises.

The thesis deals with the development of theoretical and methodological basics as well as scientific and practical recommendations as for establishing and implementation of the mechanism of ensuring the financial security of industrial enterprises. The work researches and summarizes theoretical basics of building financial control to ensure the financial security of state-owned enterprises. It has enabled the development of the notions and categories referring to “financial security” and “financial control”, which in turn allowed setting tight connection between these categories and revealed their essence and economic meaning. The concept of ensuring enterprise financial security, which implies possible risks detection and hazards probability as well as a set of projected situations, is put forward. The work also suggests the development of the measures aimed at the elimination of destabilizing factors of the internal and external environment by applying the identified toolset. The paper researches and puts forward modern methods, techniques and procedures of internal control and external audit, which allow coherence between different divisions to meet the goals set by the executives by eliminating threats and risks of the internal and external environment thereby enhancing enterprise financial security. The methodological framework of formation and methodological techniques of implementation of the stages of enterprise internal control and external audit are identified in line with the objectives and requirements set for the company under control. The dissertation researches into the development of industrial enterprises in Ukraine, evaluating their level of financial security; analyzing external and internal factors affecting enterprise financial security which in turn makes it feasible to reveal threats to enterprise financial security and consequently reach certain conclusions to make managerial decisions. The thesis developed the formation and implementation algorithm for the mechanism of ensuring enterprise financial security which guarantees enterprise resistance to likely risks and hazards present in the internal and external environment. The findings of the research present structural and logical model of the mechanism ensuring enterprise financial security made up of the set of interrelated elements which ensure the detection of problems and discrepancies in the work of a company. Based on the developed measures they eliminate or correct them in order to approximate the current parameters with the target norms. Via the feedback channels, they seek effective communication on troubleshooting activities aimed at improving company work and adapting the financial control mechanism to volatile conditions of the external environment. The dissertation covers the system of financial control monitoring while ensuring financial security, which allows to reveal and eliminate risks and hazards of enterprise financial security, ensure the input of proposals as for effective executive decisions aimed to improve financial control activities.
