Essay

The concept of economic development strategies is investigated and their role in ensuring the economic security of the state is substantiated. The concept of food security as an object of strategic macroeconomic planning is disclosed. Theoretical approaches to the formation and implementation of the state food security strategy have been improved. The structure of the food security strategy has been developed in accordance with the production, the formation of the internal market, the resource potential and the safety and quality of food, which will allow to establish common approaches and methodological bases for the development of the strategy as a state document. The classification of food security threats has been developed, which includes management threats at the level of public administration and at the level of agricultural producers; market threats at the level of foreign economic activity of the country and at the level of the internal market; social threats in the field of ensuring a high standard of living for population and in the field of product quality assurance; natural threats are unrelated and unrelated to the impact of human activity. The methodological bases of development of the state food security strategy with the use of balanced scorecard are substantiated, which allows to define strategic goals and targets in accordance with the financial support of agricultural policy; social security of the population; regulation and infrastructure of the internal market; government and food security resources.
