The thesis elaborates the concept of systemic transformation of corporate activity in the institutional environment which is based on understanding of the corporations’ activity as a set of systemic actions aimed at implementation of a single institutional corporate field that includes existence and recognition of a number of principles, governing norms and functions of IT corporations necessary to form a more efficient institutional system of regulation of activity of such complex economic units, which ultimately leads to activation of their activity by means of using levers of regulation and formation of the up-to-date institute of corporations. A new hypothesis is put forward - corporations are intended to adjust imbalances in the levels of economic development of regions, to smooth differences in economic conditions and to create a strong foundation for social and economic development of regions, which allows substantiating theoretically the need for the development of their own corporate networks based on foreign direct investments as well as the advisability of promotion of advanced technologies. There is elaborated a new conceptual approach to defining priority forms and directions of development of corporations in the innovation and information environment, which involves the use of information technologies broadly in such areas of activity of corporations as production, science, social sphere, education and business, which is not dispersed in different sectors of the national economy, but can be combined in the process of a single corporation’s activity.
There is improved systematization of approaches to the definition of transformation processes by grouping them into four theoretical and methodological approaches: evolutionary approach, structural and functional approach, strategic and multifocal approach, institutional approach. There are defined the factors that hinder the development of information systems and informatization of the economy in Ukraine. There is improved the classification of global corporate institutions in the information sphere which is based on the allocation of functions of corporations: corporate institutes of the virtual trade regulations; corporate institutes for the development of monetary and financial regulations; corporate standards-setting institutes in the communications sector, which allows national corporations to provide a sound redistribution of resources and facilitate orientation in the system of business rules in accordance with the latest rules of business activity. There is proposed a scientific and methodological approach to information technology management in a corporation that is based on the structuring of the competitive strategy of the communication network, which allows revealing the theoretical scheme of competition not among corporations themselves, but among communication networks of these corporations. There are presented institutional features of modern IT corporations, there are revealed institutional manifestations of corporate activity in the economy and there are defined signs and institutionalizations of modern IT corporations.
There is improved the structure of the IT corporation’s information security system based on the concept of information security management of the IT corporation’s activity and includes such components as legislative, economic, software-technical and administrative-managerial, which allows preventing, detecting and neutralizing threats that can damage or hinder the effective functioning of the IT corporation and improving the information security management of the IT corporation. There are developed quantitative and analytical tools for studying corporate expense management optimization based on the author's economic-mathematical model of corporate expense management optimization, which allows analyzing and forecasting the profitability of a corporation based on the use of Lagrange multipliers and construction of the Cobb-Douglas production function to ensure their profitability and implementation of an effective innovation component in the information-institutional environment under the conditions caused by political instability and excessive inflation. There is improved interpretation of the definition of "corporation". There are identified the factors of impact on the process of ensuring information security of an IT corporation. There is proposed a scientific and methodological approach to the formation of the newest institute of corporations which takes into account the possibility of providing corporations with a partially normative function, increasing their participation in the formation of rights, that is, lawmaking, which will allow it to influence the implementation of institutional regulation of legal entities’ activity.
