The topicality of the issue lies in the fact that means and tools of labor market regulation do not keep pace with digital economy development and there exist significant imbalances between them, which leads to the necessity of developing strategic directions for balancing the development of the national labor market and digital economy. The purpose of the research is to improve theoretical and methodological provisions, develop scientific and methodological approaches and practical recommendations for balanced regulation of the labor market in the widespread use of digital technologies in the national economy and strengthen global competition for highly professional, intellectual and creative labor resources. The research novelty lies in theoretical substantiation and scientific solution of the problem concerning strategic support of balancing the national labor market with the development of technologies in the transition to digital economy. The obtained results and recommendations serve as a methodological basis for regulating labor market and determining areas for balancing it with the development of digital economy. Theoretical and methodological bases of research of labor market transformation, employment in the context of transition to digital economy are generalized. The connection between the change of technological systems, the transformation of labor market concepts, tools for its regulation and the emergence of new forms of employment is revealed. The concept of the digital labor market is developed, its conceptual and categorical apparatus is substantiated. The theoretical basis for understanding the transformation of the place and role of man and artificial intelligence under the influence of digital technologies and the possibilities of their interaction in the process of work is formed. The methodology of diagnostics of the labor market in the conditions of digital economy on the parameters of flexibility and social protection has been improved, according to which the assessment of the national labor market has been performed. The concept of the ecosystem of the national labor market is offered, its efficiency is estimated. The main risks of the national ecosystem of the labor market are identified and ways to minimize them are proposed, which will allow to balance human and technological development. Strategic directions for balancing the labor market and the digital economy have been developed.
