Dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Economic Sciences in specialty 08.00.04 – Economics and Management of Enterprises (by type of economic activity). – Classic Private University, Zaporizhia, 2020. In the dissertation the theoretical and methodological foundations are substantiated and the scientific and practical recommendations on definition of scientific bases and social determinants of activity of tourist enterprises are developed. It is determined that the tendencies of increasing influence of social determinants in the activity of production and commercial structures are part of the global tendency to make the work of people more regulated and normalized in terms of social standards. The challenges of the development of the social activity of tourism enterprises pose new challenges for scientists and require the systematization of new methods of introducing social processes into the activities of tourism enterprises. Insufficient resolution of these issues led to the choice of topic, purpose and objectives of the study, its focus. In the dissertation the methodology of development of tourist enterprises in the context of realization of social paradigm is formed. Components of the developed methodology are theoretical and methodological bases for the study of social processes, determining the place of business and corporate activity in the implementation of modern social paradigm and the development of scientific and methodological approaches to the definition of functions of tourist enterprises and areas of social component of their activities.
