Essay

Factors of growth of the export-oriented industry in the absence of dominant competitive advantages in international markets and justification of the relevant areas of its state regulation. Justification of theoretical and methodological bases of identification of factors of growth of metallurgical branch of Ukraine for definition of directions of its state regulation. The logical-historical method, methods of comparative and structural-functional analysis, economic-mathematical modeling, system analysis, graphical and tabular methods were used. On the basis of theoretical research the theoretical and methodological bases of definition of the basic factors of growth of metallurgical branch of Ukraine are substantiated and the priority directions of its state regulation which can be used at substantiation of the corresponding strategic documents are offered. Theoretical and methodological approaches to determining key factors of economic growth of the metallurgical industry of Ukraine, which include such external (exogenous) market factors as price situation in international markets, the level of the national currency exchange rate and the price of imported natural gas, that under the same other conditions directly affect the dynamics of its output; theoretical provisions on the need to reduce the dependence of the metallurgical industry of Ukraine on foreign economic conditions and the devaluation of the national currency by modernizing the technologies used in the industry, improving product quality and expanding its markets, especially domestic.
