For the first time the theoretical and methodical bases of professional development of physical education teachers in the conditions of postgraduate pedagogical education are scientifically grounded. The author's concept of professional development of physical education teachers in the conditions of postgraduate pedagogical education is developed. A system of professional development of physical education teachers in postgraduate pedagogical education has been designed and experimentally tested, which is presented in the model that is caused by the needs of society and employers' requirements for professional growth of physical education teachers in lifelong learning. The model of the system of professional development of physical education teachers in the conditions of postgraduate pedagogical education is presented, which is represented by target, conceptual, theoretical-content, organizational-developmental and evaluation-effective blocks. The structure of professional development of physical education teachers in the conditions of postgraduate pedagogical education is determined, which contains such components as: motivational, gnostic, active, personal. The methods of realization of pedagogical conditions of professional development of physical education teachers in the conditions of postgraduate pedagogical education is developed. A diagnostic tool has been created to assess the levels of readiness of physical education teachers to provide educational services, which includes: a set of diagnostic techniques, criteria (motivational and axiological, cognitive and intellectual, constructive and active, personalized and individual), indicators and levels. The author's interpretations of the concepts “postgraduate pedagogical education of physical education teachers”, “professional development of physical education teachers in the conditions of postgraduate pedagogical education”, “professional competence of physical education teachers”, “рrofessional training of physical education teachers”, “readiness of physical education teachers to provide educational services”, “аcmeoself-development” are presented. The efficiency of the system of professional development of physical education teachers in the conditions of postgraduate pedagogical education is proved.
