Babenko K. Strategic management of balanced economic development of territories: theory, methodology, practice

The thesis represents the development of the modern concept of strategic management of balanced economic development of territories. The essence of economic development of territories is specified in the work and the terminological system of this concept is constructed. The tools of economic development of territories are substantiated. The key principles of balanced economic development of territories are systematized and synthesized. A semantic model of the system of strategic management of economic development is built. For the first time the concept of strategic management of balanced economic development of the territory was developed. A qualimetric model for assessing the level of implementation of the strategy of economic development of territories is proposed, which is a methodological basis for the mechanism of monitoring the implementation of the strategy of economic development of territories. The cognitive map of problems of economic development of territories is constructed. A methodological approach to assessing the level of balanced economic development of territories has been developed, the result of which is the construction of a three-level matrix of influence of such indicators as: integrated indicator of economic development of the territory, growth rate of economic development and degree of balance. The conceptual approach to the construction and functioning of the mechanism of policy formation of balanced economic development of territories has been improved.
