The dissertation is devoted to substantiation of theoretical and methodological bases of functioning of the internal market of the goods and maintenance of its development, definition of the basic tendencies and contradictions of these processes. The essential characteristic of the market as an economic category and its classification is given in the work, the categorical-conceptual apparatus of research is formed. The concept of research of the internal market of the goods which is formed on a combination of static and dynamic aspects of research of the internal market of the goods is offered. Theoretical principles of development and its species manifestations in the domestic market of goods are described. On the basis of elaboration of theoretical researches of scientists the postulates of development of social and economic systems are defined. The classification of types of development has been improved, in which the classification features are arranged according to their compliance with the postulates of development, and their list has been supplemented with the classification feature «basis for ensuring change». The methodology of ensuring the development of the internal market of goods is proposed and the system of ensuring the development of the internal market of goods is considered. A set of principles for ensuring the development of the domestic market, determined the content of the information base of the domestic market of goods, collected and analytical data processing on quantitative and qualitative parameters of the domestic market of goods, structure and structural changes in the domestic market of goods, conditions of commodity-money transactions.
