Essay

The dissertation is devoted to a comprehensive study of the problems of theory and practice of ensuring the effectiveness of constitutional law norms in the context of the modern development of the legal system. The place and role of the legal system in the modern system of law are analyzed. The basic principles and features of the functioning of the modern legal system are determined. It is emphasized that the constitutional law matter in modern conditions of development of the legal system is at the epicenter of interaction of a complex of interconnected processes of interstate and supranational character, which should include constitutionalization of international law, internationalization of constitutional law, legal globalization, interstate (European) integration, etc. In these conditions, which have an objective origin, significantly changes the legal content of national constitutional and legal norms, which, in turn, leads to the need to develop a fundamentally new theoretical, methodological and practical- practical model to ensure their effectiveness, including a system of international legal and integration (supranational) support. This aspect is especially relevant in the implementation of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU, the provisions of which are aimed, inter alia, at adapting the national legal system of Ukraine to European legal standards, without which it is fundamentally impossible to build a European rule of law. criterion of social and legal effectiveness of constitutional law norms.
