Honcharuk I. Ensuring of energy independence of the agro-industrial complex on the basis of sustainable development

The dissertation is devoted to the substantiation of theoretical and methodological principles and practical recommendations for improving the organizational and evaluation of economic principles of energy independence of the agro-industrial complex. The dissertation describes the evolution of the theoretical foundations of energy independence as a social and economic phenomenon, noting the historical trends of the essential positioning of the recognition of the role of energy in the formation of national wealth, solving problems of socio-economic development. In the comparative-evaluation plan of the presentation in the scientific discussion the theoretical characteristics of the basics of energy security and energy independence are revealed, the common and distinctive features of their practical reflection in the system of categories of economic science are found. The economic essence is clarified and it is described the understanding of the content of the category "energy independence" as formed as organizational, economic and resource aggregate energy potential from own sources to meet the energy needs of the state, industry on the basis of sustainable development, environmental friendliness and innovation. It is determined the role of renewable energy from the sources of agricultural origin in ensuring of the energy independence of the agro-industrial complex, taking into account the principles of "greening" the economy.
