The dissertation is devoted to the complex and thorough analysis of the problems of adaptation of the labor legislation of Ukraine to the EU legislation. The paper clarifies the specifics of the content of the adaptation of labor legislation of Ukraine to EU legislation and describes the essence of the features of this legal phenomenon. The staging of the adaptation of labor legislation to the EU legislation on the territory of modern Ukraine is revealed. The ways of adaptation of European social standards to the labor legislation of Ukraine are analyzed. The types of forms of adaptation of the labor legislation of Ukraine to the EU legislation are distinguished. The peculiarities of the current state of implementation of the adaptation of the labor legislation of Ukraine to the EU legislation are determined, the specifics of their elements are revealed. The significance and role of control over the compliance of draft regulations of labor legislation of Ukraine with the law of the European Union are detailed. The national features of the labor legislation of Germany, France and Estonia are revealed, and also the directions of borrowing of positive foreign experience into the labor legislation of Ukraine are developed. The shortcomings, gaps and theoretical and practical problems of adaptation of the national labor legislation to the EU legislation are investigated. The list of ways of their decision is formulated. The tendencies of further development of adaptation of the national labor legislation to the EU legislation are singled out. The meaning and content of each of them at the present stage are detailed.
