Essay

During the dissertation research 414 women with menopausal syndrome (MS) were examined and treated. All patients were divided into 4 groups depending on the presence of concomitant extragenital pathology. The 1st group included 102 people with MS who did not have concomitant extragenital pathology, studied in other groups. The 2nd group included 101 women who, in addition to MS, were diagnosed with type II diabetes mellitus (DM). The 3rd group included 106 women in whom the concomitant pathology was hypothyroidism. In group 4, there were 105 women in whom MS was associated with hypertension. The study found that the most important risk factors for cardiovascular disease in women with MS were hyperlipidemia, overweight, hypertension and hypodynamics. Differentiated approaches to the treatment and improvement of the quality of life of women with MS depending on extragenital pathology have been developed. Isolated menopausal hormone therapy has been shown to be effective in controlling some manifestations of MS in women without concomitant extragenital pathology, whereas the presence of hypertension, hypothyroidism, and type II diabetes requires additional physiotherapy treatment and antihomotoxic therapy. Branch - medicine.
