The effectiveness of the system of training future physical education teachers for health care in primary school, including the author’s conception, the purpose block, as well as the theoretical and methodological, cognitive and contents, technological and resultative ones, being presented as a system model, pedagogical conditions (provision of the integration of the theoretical and the practical training future physical education teachers, interdisciplinary relations and succession in the educational process; the development of the creative potential of the future physical education teachers through the implementation of the innovative educational technologies; the application of the electronic educational resources in training future physical education teachers in a higher education institution; the formation of the health care experience in the process of holding practices and mastering the means of solving professional problems concerning pupils’ physical education) as well as the teaching and the methodological provision of the educational process are worked out and checked by the experiment in the thesis for the first time; the author’s understanding of the notions “professional training future physical education teachers for health care in primary school” and “readiness of the future physical education teachers for health care in primary school” is presented as well.
Training future physical education teachers for health care in primary school is considered as a system of organizational, psychological and pedagogical activities, taking place in higher education institutions and are aimed at the students’ mastering professionally oriented knowledge, skills, and experience, enabling them to implement various forms of pupils’ physical education during the academic day and in the extra-class work, to hold gymnastics before classes, physical education minutes and breaks, sporting hours in the prolonged day groups and physical education and sporting holidays effectively with the aim of strengthening and caring health of the educational process subjects.
The readiness of the future physical education teachers for health care in primary school is considered as a integrative personality entity, containing the awareness of the social value of the health care motives, the positive motivation for making pupils healthy, adjustment to forming a healthy way of life and their responsible treatment of their own health and the health of their surrounding, the presence of the person’s professionally important qualities, sufficient for the increase of the movement activity and physical perfection of the young generation.
The purpose block of the system model is presented with the aim and tasks of the training future physical education teachers for health care in primary school. The theoretical and the methodological block of the system model is composed of methodological approaches, common pedagogical principles (mind and activity, the development of the educational needs, succession of the education contents at different education stages, professional and applied purposes of the training, interdisciplinarity, axiologization) and the principles of the physical education. The cognitive and contents block of the system model is composed of interconnected and interconditioned structural components of the future physical education teachers’ readiness for health care in primary school, in particular axiological, gnoseological, praxeological and personality-oriented. As a result of regular changes in the professional pedagogical activity of a teacher of physical education, conditioned by the age, sex and individual differences of physical and psychological abilities of the secondary school pupils, the specific peculiarity of the contents block is its dynamics and changeability. The technological block of the system model contains forms, methods, means, functions and stages of training future physical education teachers for health care in primary school. The resultative block of the system model is composed of criteria (motivation, cognitive, activity and practical, personality-oriented), indicators and levels of the future physical education teachers’ readiness for health care being formed in primary school. The result is the formed readiness of the future physical education teachers for health care in primary school.
