Ivashchenko A. Financial and investment mechanism of small and medium-sized enterprises` development

The thesis is devoted to theoretical and methodological bases and development of scientific - methodical and practical recommendations of financial and investment mechanism functioning of small and medium-sized enterprises (SME) development. Theoretical approaches to the essence interpretation of the term “financial and investment mechanism of SME development” are generalized, based on which its concept is clarified taking into account both instruments and levers of financial and investment nature, and non-monetary instruments as forms of support. The concept of the financial and investment mechanism of SME development has been developed, which is based on a systematic approach that will help increase the financial and investment potential of SMEs. Identification of such components as levers and tools in which, along with monetary, it is reasonable to use non-monetary; levels (state / regional - budget financing; market - credit and investment financing and internal - self-financing); institutional and infrastructural support (normative-legal, administrative-organizational, information-communication and resource-property); factors of influence (micro- and macro-environment) will contribute to a comprehensive justification for the SME support policy formation and increase the amount of financial and investment resources from both traditional and alternative sources of funding for SMEs.
